Juan Santamaría International (SJO): San José’s main international airport (SJO) is the closest major airport to Heredia Province. From SJO you can reach Santo Domingo district (Heredia) by taxi (about 20-35 minutes depending on traffic) or by public bus/shuttle from the airport to Heredia.

Tobías Bolaños (SYQ): A small domestic/charter airfield in San José (SYQ) handles local flights and charters; it is closer to Heredia but not used for regular international arrivals.
