Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO): The main international airport serving the San José metropolitan area. From SJO Santa Ana (in the San José Province) is a short road trip west into the metro area; taxis, shuttle services and app-based ride-hailing operate from the airport to Santa Ana - typical journey times are around 25-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Tobías Bolaños International Airport (SYQ): A small domestic airport closer to central San José that handles some domestic and private flights. It is significantly closer to Santa Ana and can reduce transfer time if flights are available.

By Train & Bus
