Saint Sophia Church in Sofia is an early medieval church in Bulgaria and the namesake of the capital city. It is one of Sofia’s oldest preserved churches and sits immediately adjacent to the Roman-Byzantine remains of Serdica.

The church is noted for its Early Byzantine fabric and preserved interior features, with visible archaeological layers around the building and in the adjacent open area.
