How to Get to Rong Kwang
Rong Kwang in Phrae province is reached via regional airports (Phrae or Chiang Mai) or by rail to nearby Den Chai/Uttaradit followed by a bus or taxi. Local roads are the normal way to move around the district.
Chiang Mai Airport (CNX): For Rong Kwang (Phrae province) the nearest major airport is Chiang Mai (CNX) or the small Phrae Airport (PRH) if flights are operating. From Chiang Mai the drive to Rong Kwang is about 2-3 hours by car; from Phrae town it’s much shorter (around 30-60 minutes). Taxis and rental cars are available at airports.
