How to Get to Ramos
Ramos is a neighborhood within Luquillo on Puerto Rico's northeast coast. The usual arrival point is SJU (San Juan), with onward travel by rental car, taxi/rideshare or intercity bus to Luquillo.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU): San Juan’s main airport is the primary arrival point; Luquillo is about 35-50 minutes’ drive east of San Juan depending on traffic, making car rental, taxi or rideshare the most practical options. Rental cars are widely available; expect airport-to-Luquillo taxi fares to be higher than short-town fares.
Ceiba (Fernando Ribas Dominicci is in Isla Grande / Ceiba small airfields): Small local airfields and charter services operate at Ceiba for some island flights and charters; for practical arrivals most travelers use SJU and continue by road. Ground transfer times from Ceiba to Luquillo are roughly 40-60 minutes by car.
Train: There is no passenger rail serving Luquillo; rail is not an option.
Bus: Public buses link Luquillo to the San Juan metro area and nearby towns; AMA buses and private guaguas run routes to/from Fajardo and San Juan. Fares are low (a few dollars) and travel to San Juan commonly takes 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on route and stops.

To reach beaches and attractions outside the immediate barrio, a car or taxi is convenient; public buses connect Luquillo with other coastal towns but schedules are limited.
