How to Get to Prčanj
Prčanj sits on the Bay of Kotor and is best accessed via Tivat airport (TIV) or by road from Podgorica. Short local buses and taxis from Kotor or Tivat give quick onward access to the village.
Tivat Airport (TIV): The nearest airport for Prčanj and Kotor Bay, about 10-20 minutes’ drive depending on traffic. Taxis from TIV to Prčanj are short and inexpensive (roughly €10-20); rental cars are available at the airport.
Podgorica Airport (TGD): Montenegro’s capital airport is about 1-1.5 hours’ drive from Prčanj. Transfers and buses run between Podgorica and the Bay of Kotor area; expect travel times of about 60-90 minutes and transfer fares commonly in the €10-30 range.
Train: Montenegro has very limited passenger rail services and none that directly serve Prčanj; the rail network is not the primary way to reach Kotor Bay.
Bus: Local and intercity buses connect Tivat and Kotor with surrounding coastal villages including Prčanj. Kotor’s main bus station (Autobuska stanica Kotor) is the regional hub; bus rides along the bay are short (10-25 minutes) and inexpensive (typically €1-3). Regular lines and taxis connect the small villages.
