How to Get to Planken#
Planken is reached via Swiss rail hubs (Sargans/Buchs) and local bus services. There are no airports in Liechtenstein-use Zurich or Altenrhein and continue by train and bus.
Zurich Airport (ZRH): Trains to Sargans are about 1h10-1h30; from Sargans take a bus toward Vaduz and nearby Planken (25-40 min). Expect combined fares around CHF 25-40.
St. Gallen-Altenrhein (ACH): Altenrhein offers limited services; onward bus connections via Rheineck and Buchs SG reach Planken in roughly 45-70 minutes for about CHF 8-15.
Train: Sargans and Buchs SG are the closest rail gateways. Trains from Zurich and St. Gallen arrive regularly; check connections for the bus link to Planken.
