How to Get to Schaan#
Schaan is reachable via Swiss airports and the regional rail network with a short bus or taxi transfer from Sargans or Buchs SG. Use local PostBus services or the short rail link where available.
Zurich Airport (ZRH): From Zurich Airport take a train to Sargans (about 1h10) or Buchs SG, then a short bus or taxi to Schaan (about 20-35 minutes). Typical combined fares are CHF 25-40.
St. Gallen-Altenrhein (ACH): Altenrhein connections require a bus via Rheineck and Buchs SG; from there it’s a short ride to Schaan, total travel time around 45-70 minutes and cost roughly CHF 8-15.
Train: Schaan is served by the regional rail connection (Schaan-Vaduz area) with nearby stops; major hubs to transfer at are Buchs SG and Sargans. Trains from Zurich arrive at Sargans in ~1h10.
