How to Get to Otepää
Otepää is best reached via Tartu (regional airport TAY and rail) or Tallinn (TLL) with onward bus connections. There is no direct national passenger rail service into Otepää, so the last leg is usually by bus or taxi from Tartu.
Tartu Airport (TAY): Tartu is the closest airport to Otepää but has limited scheduled services; check availability.
Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL): Tallinn remains the main international gateway; from Tallinn you can travel by train or bus to Tartu and then onward to Otepää.
Train: The nearest mainline rail station is in Tartu (Tartu railway station); from Tartu you continue to Otepää by bus or taxi - there is no direct national rail line into Otepää itself.
