Best Time to Visit Nyagatare#
Nyagatare is best in the dry spells (Dec-Feb, Jun-Aug) for easier wildlife viewing and road travel. The long and short rains (Mar-May, Sep-Nov) green the plains but can turn tracks sloppy.

Consistent rain makes savanna green and rivers fuller; wildlife viewing can be good but some tracks become slippery and dusty between storms.
September - November
20-29°C (68-84°F)
Brief, strong rains refresh the landscape and cool afternoons; travel remains fairly straightforward and local markets hum after showers.
