Persistent heavy rain makes rural travel slow and dusty tracks slippery; scenery becomes lush but activities often delayed or cancelled.
Short rainy season
October - November · 16-27°C (61-81°F)
Short bursts of rain green the countryside quickly; fewer tourists and pleasant temperatures, but expect occasional road and trail disruptions.
