The Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities (Medelhavsmuseet) houses archaeological collections from ancient Egypt, Greece, Cyprus and the Near East in central Stockholm. It specialises in material culture from the Mediterranean basin and adjacent regions.

Exhibitions present ceramics, sculpture, funerary objects and small finds that illustrate ancient daily life, ritual and trade across millennia. Temporary exhibitions and loans supplement the permanent collections.

The collections were assembled through Swedish archaeological research and acquisitions and have been developed as a national resource for study and display of Mediterranean and Near Eastern antiquities.
