Majdal Shams is a village on the Golan Heights best accessed by road from northern Israel hubs. Use Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion for international flights and continue by car, shared taxi or regional bus; services into the Golan can be limited so plan ahead.
Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Israel’s main international airport is the usual entry point for international visitors. From Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion, travel to Majdal Shams is several hours by car (approximately 2.5-3.5 hours depending on route and border/political conditions); private car or organized transfer is the standard approach.
Haifa / Galilee region airports (regional): There are smaller regional airports and airfields in northern Israel but they offer limited commercial service. For practical travel to Majdal Shams most international travellers use Ben Gurion and continue by road.
