Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Israel’s main international airport is the usual entry point for international visitors. From Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion, travel to Majdal Shams is several hours by car (approximately 2.5-3.5 hours depending on route and border/political conditions); private car or organized transfer is the standard approach.

Haifa / Galilee region airports (regional): There are smaller regional airports and airfields in northern Israel but they offer limited commercial service. For practical travel to Majdal Shams most international travellers use Ben Gurion and continue by road.

By Train & Bus

Train: Israel Railways serves major cities (Tel Aviv, Haifa, Nazareth nearby) but has no direct line into the Golan Heights. Rail can get you to northern hubs (e.g., Haifa) from which you continue by bus or car.

Bus: Egged and other bus companies serve northern Israel; from nearby hubs (Katzrin, Tiberias, or the Galilee) regional buses or shared taxis provide routes into the Golan. Services into Majdal Shams are limited and schedules can be affected by security or operational changes-use local bus timetables and check in advance. Shared taxis (service taxis) are commonly used for last-mile travel in the region.
