How to Get to Lepoglava#
Lepoglava is a small town north of Varaždin in Croatia; most visitors arrive via Zagreb Airport (Franjo Tuđman, ZAG) or by rail to Varaždin and transfer by local bus or taxi. There is no direct commercial airport-expect a rail/bus leg from a regional hub.
Zagreb Franjo Tuđman (ZAG): Zagreb is the main gateway for Lepoglava. From ZAG take the airport shuttle (Pleso prijevoz) or bus to Zagreb city centre (40-60 HRK / €5-8, 30-40 min), then HŽ (Croatian Railways) regional trains from Zagreb Glavni kolodvor to Varaždin (approximately 1-1.5 hr, ~40-60 HRK / €5-8).
