The Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb (Muzej suvremene umjetnosti) is Croatia’s national museum for 20th- and 21st-century art. The institution relocated into a purpose-built facility in Novi Zagreb that opened in 2009.

Galleries present Croatian and international modern and contemporary paintings, sculpture, photographic works and multimedia installations, alongside temporary exhibitions and public programmes. The building provides large, flexible gallery spaces suitable for large-scale contemporary works.

The museum’s collection was developed through state and institutional collecting from the late 20th century onward and was moved into a new, larger building in 2009 to expand exhibition capacity and public access.

Located in the Novi Zagreb district, the museum sits on the south side of the Sava River in the city’s newer urban area and is accessible by tram and road from central Zagreb.
