From Ercan, taxis and shuttle minibuses run to Kyrenia District towns including Lapithos; taxi trips are typically around 30-60 minutes and cost in the range of roughly €25-€45 (prices often quoted in Turkish lira or euro).

Train: There is no passenger rail network on Cyprus; Lapithos is not served by train.
Bus: Northern Cyprus has intercity buses and dolmuş (shared minibuses) linking Kyrenia (Girne) with Lapithos and other coastal villages. From Girne the journey is short and dolmuş fares are inexpensive (small fixed fares, typically a few Turkish lira); timetables vary so ask locally for the current departures.
