About Cape Kormakitis

Cape Kormakitis is a rocky headland on the northwest coast of Cyprus near the village of Kormakitis in the Kyrenia District. The promontory marks a change in the shoreline and is part of the island’s northwestern coastal profile.

The headland has local significance for coastal views and fishing access rather than large-scale visitor facilities. Adjacent coastal waters and small beaches are used by local communities.

Historically the area is associated with the nearby village and local maritime activities rather than major strategic installations. Over time the headland has remained a relatively quiet coastal feature.
