La Playa is a locality in the Añasco area on Puerto Rico's west coast. Access is primarily by road from San Juan (SJU) or from Rafael Hernández (BQN) with a car or bus completing the journey.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU): The main international airport for Puerto Rico; from SJU Playa-La Playa (Añasco/Añasco barrio-pueblo area) is a drive of roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on which part of the west coast you are heading to. Car rental and taxis are the typical options.
Rafael Hernández International Airport (BQN): Closer to many west-coast towns, BQN is convenient when available; travel times to Añasco-area locations vary and a rental car is the most practical option for final transport.
Train: Puerto Rico has no intercity passenger rail network serving Añasco.
Bus: Intercity buses and guaguas connect the west coast with San Juan and other towns; expect flexible schedules and trip times often over an hour from San Juan depending on route and stops.
