About Fluid Swimming Pool#
Located a short way east of the bridge on a slight rise, Fluid is well named, as it is all things to all people. Its primary role is as a swimming pool and a great place to cool off in the hot weather. At 25 metres it is a decent size and kept in good condition, providing a tempting alternative on days you would rather not venture out of town.
The best thing about Fluid, though, is that it is much more than a pool. There is a small gym with exercise machines, plus a good restaurant and well-stocked bar with cool sounds playing all day long. You will also find a herbal steam room, table tennis, books to browse and internet access, making it a fine place to meet other travellers and pick up ideas for where to go next. Like many places in Pai, Fluid closes for a couple of months (August to September) when few visitors are in town.
