How to Get to Engure#
Engure is a small coastal settlement in Tukums Municipality. The nearest major gateway is Riga Airport (RIX); from there regional rail or buses to Tukums plus a short onward bus or taxi are the usual routes into Engure.
Riga International Airport (RIX): The main international airport for Latvia. From RIX you can reach Tukums and the surrounding coastal area by bus or car; drivetime to the Tukums/Engure area is around 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Liepāja Airport (LPX): A smaller regional airport on Latvia’s west coast; services are limited and seasonal. If using LPX you will likely need a rental car or a combination of regional bus connections to reach Engure.
Train: Latvian Railways (Pasažieru Vilciens) runs services from Riga to Tukums (Tukums I and Tukums II). From Tukums you can take local buses or a taxi to Engure; train travel Riga-Tukums typically takes about 1-1.5 hours.
