How to Get to Dandong
Dandong is served by a small regional airport, Dandong Langtou Airport (DDG), and by regular rail services to major Liaoning hubs at Dandong Railway Station (丹东站). Many international travellers arrive via Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE) and continue to Dandong by intercity train or coach.
Dandong Langtou Airport (DDG): Dandong’s small regional airport handles domestic flights (to Beijing, Shanghai via connections, Dalian etc.). Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE): Shenyang is the nearest major international airport and a common entry point if you can’t fly directly to Dandong.
