Mountain summits still require warm clothing, especially at dawn. Expect busier hotels and festival crowds in Medellín mid-month; reserve accommodations early.
Los Llanos (Eastern Plains)
July stays within the rainy season with broad flooding that pushes wildlife into river channels, concentrating sightings around higher ground - good for river safaris.
