Yerevan and the Ararat Plain
July in the Ararat Plain arrives hot and dry - daytime temperatures commonly reach the high twenties to low thirties Celsius, and the strong sun can feel relentless in open fields. This is peak sightseeing season in the capital; expect large crowds at Cascade, Republic Square and weekend trips to Khor Virap for the classic Ararat view. Lake Sevan and Gegharkunik Highlands
