How to Get to Arcavacata
Arcavacata (Rende/Cosenza area) is best reached via Lamezia Terme airport with onward rail to Cosenza and a short local bus or taxi to Arcavacata. Regional trains and buses serve the area; taxis are simplest for the final short leg.
Lamezia Terme (SUF): Lamezia Terme is the main international airport serving Calabria. From Lamezia you can travel by train to Cosenza or Rende and then by local taxi/bus to Arcavacata; train travel to Cosenza takes roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on service, and taxis from the station to Arcavacata are short (20-40 minutes) depending on exact location. Airport→Cosenza transfers by taxi or private transfer take about 1-1.5 hours.
Reggio Calabria (REG) / Crotone (CRV) as alternatives: These smaller airports can be used depending on flight availability but often require longer road transfers and fewer scheduled services; choose Lamezia Terme for the most options.
Train: Trenitalia services and regional lines connect Lamezia and other hubs to Cosenza.
