About Wunna Theikdi Stadium

Wunna Theikdi Stadium is a multi-use sports stadium in Naypyidaw, Myanmar and is part of the larger Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex. It was constructed to host regional sporting competitions and national events.

The stadium includes an athletics track and a football pitch and is configured for multi-sport use during competitions. It is a principal venue within Naypyidaw for large-scale sports and ceremonial events.

The complex was completed in the early 2010s and served as one of the main venues for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. Since then it has been used for domestic sports fixtures and national ceremonies.

Wunna Theikdi sits in the planned capital territory of Naypyidaw, within the Naypyidaw Union Territory and accessible from the city centre by the capital’s road network.
