Wellington Arch is an early 19th-century triumphal arch at Hyde Park Corner in central London, originally built as an entrance to the park and later reinterpreted as a victory monument. It was designed by Decimus Burton and dates from the 1820s.

The arch is topped by a large bronze sculpture of a four-horse chariot, a distinctive feature visible from surrounding streets. Inside there is a small exhibition space and a viewing area that provides elevated views across Hyde Park, Apsley House and Park Lane.

The structure was constructed in the early 19th century and has been retained and repurposed as a public monument and exhibition site. Over time it has been adapted to accommodate the sculpture and visitor facilities while remaining a central transport focal point.

It stands at Hyde Park Corner, immediately beside Apsley House and a short walk from Knightsbridge and central London attractions, making it readily accessible by public transport.

Wellington Arch stands at Hyde Park Corner on the south-east corner of Hyde Park in central London. The nearest Tube station is Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line) - the arch is immediately adjacent and a minute or two’s walk from the station. It is also a short walk from Green Park and from the A4 (Park Lane/Cromwell Road) junction.

By car the arch is on the A4/Constitution Hill/Stratton Street area near Hyde Park; parking in the immediate area is limited so public transport from central London is recommended.

• Go early on a weekday to avoid the busiest tour groups and heavy traffic around Hyde Park Corner; the nearest Tube is Hyde Park Corner for the shortest walk.
• Check English Heritage opening times and book rooftop/visitor access in advance if you want the panoramic view from the top of Wellington Arch-times can be limited and are separate from simply photographing the monument.
• Approach the arch from the Green Park/Hyde Park side for better photographs that include the surrounding parkland and nearby Apsley House rather than the busy carriageway.
