How to Get to Wejherowo
Wejherowo is well connected to the Tricity (Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot) commuter network via SKM trains, making it an easy day‑trip from Gdańsk. Flying into Gdańsk Airport then using SKM or regional trains is the most practical approach.
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN): Gdańsk is the nearest major airport (≈30-35 km). From GDN take suburban SKM train or an airport bus to Gdańsk Główny then SKM/commuter trains toward Gdynia and Wejherowo; total travel time to Wejherowo is about 35-50 minutes. Taxi from the airport to Wejherowo is around 30-45 minutes and costs roughly PLN 100-160.
Gdynia / Gdańsk rail connections via Gdynia Główna / Gdańsk Główny: If flying into Warsaw (WAW) or Poznań (POZ) you can transfer to intercity trains to Gdynia/Gdańsk and continue on the SKM commuter network to Wejherowo (total times vary widely by origin).
Train: Wejherowo is served by the SKM (Tricity commuter rail) and regional Polregio trains. From Gdańsk Główny or Gdynia Główna the SKM ride to Wejherowo takes about 25-40 minutes; single fares within the Tricity area are modest (a few złoty) and cheap compared with regional trains.
