How to Get to Kartuzy#
Kartuzy sits in the Kashubian region west of Gdańsk - Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) is the nearest airport and the town is well connected by regional trains and buses. Most visitors arrive via Gdańsk, then continue by PKM/Polregio train or regional bus into Kartuzy.
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN): The main airport for Pomerania, about 25-35 km from Kartuzy. By car or taxi it’s roughly 30-45 minutes (≈€30-60); from the airport you can reach Kartuzy by a combination of train or bus via Gdańsk (see below).
Rzeszów / Warsaw / Other international hubs: For fewer direct flights, travelers sometimes use Warsaw Chopin (WAW) and continue by train to Gdańsk then connect to Kartuzy; expect longer total travel times and higher fares compared with arriving at GDN.
