Dubai & the Northern Coast (Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman)

Peak heat and humidity arrive in June, with temperatures commonly in the high 30s to low 40s°C and overnight lows rarely below the high 20s. The Arabian Gulf is warm and swampy, so swimming is possible but heavy humidity makes outdoor daytime activities uncomfortable; opt for early-morning desert safaris or evening dhow cruises. Some days bring shamal-driven dust which can reduce visibility; plan extra time for airport transfers when dust is present.

Abu Dhabi & the Western Coast (Abu Dhabi city, Al Dhafra, Yas, Saadiyat)

June is one of the hottest months of the year in Abu Dhabi: very high temperatures and sticky humidity dominate, and overnight relief is limited. The Persian Gulf is warm and swimming is practical but the air can feel oppressive for long walks - plan outdoor excursions only early or late.
