How to Get to Tučepi
Tučepi is a small coastal town just south of Makarska on the Makarska Riviera. The most practical arrival route is Split Airport (SPU) → Split bus station → bus to Makarska → short local bus or taxi to Tučepi.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the nearest major airport for Tučepi. From SPU you can take a shuttle or taxi to Split city centre (about 30 minutes) then a bus to Makarska; direct transfer services to Tučepi are available in season. Shared transfer companies typically quote around €45-70 and total door-to-door time is about 1.5-2 hours depending on stops.
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV): Dubrovnik is another option but is farther (roughly 2.5-3.5 hours by road) and generally only used if flying into Dubrovnik or for multi-centre trips.
Train: There is no coastal rail link to Tučepi; the nearest main railheads are inland and not used for standard tourist arrivals.
Bus: Buses run frequently from Split’s main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) to Makarska; from Makarska it’s a short local bus or taxi ride to Tučepi.
