How to Get to Imotski#
Imotski is primarily accessed by road. Split Airport (SPU) plus the Split long‑distance bus station are the usual gateways; buses from Split run regularly to Imotski.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the nearest major airport for Imotski. From SPU take a local shuttle or taxi to Split bus station (approximately 30-40 minutes), then an intercity bus to Imotski (about 1.5-2 hours). Several daily buses link Split and Imotski, with a longer journey in high season due to traffic.
Mostar Airport (OMO) / Sarajevo (SJJ): Mostar is closer across the border in Bosnia and Herzegovina; onward travel from Mostar is by bus or private transfer. Sarajevo offers more connections but is a longer drive (about 2.5-3.5 hours to Imotski).
Train: There is no direct passenger rail to Imotski; the nearest significant railheads are in Split and Čapljina/Mostar (Bosnia). Trains are not the practical option for the final leg.
