How to Get to Bol, Croatia#
Bol on Brač island is reached by flying to Split (SPU) and then taking a ferry or catamaran to the island. Ferries to Supetar are frequent year-round; seasonal catamarans sometimes run directly to Bol.
Split Airport (SPU): The main airport for visitors to Brač island. From Split airport take a bus or shuttle to Split ferry port (Resnik-Split ~30 min, ≈20-40 HRK by shuttle), then take a ferry or catamaran to Brač (Supetar or direct to Bol depending on season).
Zračna luka Brač / Bol (seasonal): Brač has limited seasonal air/water links; most travellers use Split’s airport and continue by ferry/catamaran to reach Bol.
Train: There is no rail access to Brač island. The mainland rail hub is Split (Split Glavni kolodvor) for onward road/ferry connections.
Bus / Ferry: From Split ferry port take a car ferry to Supetar (Brač) - crossing ~50 min; from Supetar take a local bus or taxi to Bol (about 30-45 min, fares ~10-40 HRK). In high season there are also direct catamaran services from Split to Bol (≈1-1.5 hours, fares commonly €8-15).
