The Tomb of Gia Long is one of several Nguyễn dynasty tombs on the western bank of the Perfume River outside Huế’s Citadel. From Huế city centre, hire a cyclos or a taxi for a 20-30 minute ride (roughly 7-10 km depending on route). Local tours and motorbike taxis also make regular runs between the Imperial City and the cluster of royal tombs.
