Tokyo Dome is an indoor stadium and event complex in the Bunkyo ward of Tokyo, Japan. The venue opened in 1988 and is a large-capacity multipurpose dome used for professional baseball, concerts and other mass events.

The facility seats roughly 55,000 for baseball and is the home ground of the Yomiuri Giants. It is also the centerpiece of Tokyo Dome City, a complex that includes an amusement park, shopping and spa facilities which are popular with visitors on non-event days.

Tokyo Dome was constructed in the 1980s as a covered, weather-independent venue for sport and entertainment and has hosted domestic and international events since opening. Its dome roof and large bowl design allow rapid changeovers between sports and concert setups.
