How to Get to Titagarh
Titagarh is part of Kolkata's suburban rail network and is most easily reached by EMU train from Sealdah or Howrah. The nearest airport is Kolkata (CCU); from there a taxi or rail transfer reaches Titagarh.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata (CCU): The main airport serving Titagarh and the surrounding northern suburbs. From CCU you can take a taxi or app cab to Titagarh (around 45-75 minutes depending on traffic) for roughly ₹600-1,400; combined airport+rail options are also possible via transfers to Sealdah/Howrah.
Domestic connections via Kolkata: There are no regular commercial flights into Titagarh itself; air travellers use Kolkata and continue by road or suburban rail.
Train: Titagarh Railway Station (TGH) is on the Sealdah-Ranaghat line and is served by frequent suburban EMU services from Sealdah and Howrah. Trains to Titagarh take about 25-45 minutes from Sealdah and fares are very low (typically ₹10-₹30 on suburban services).
Bus: Local buses and state-run services also connect Titagarh with Kolkata and neighbouring towns; buses are cheap but can be slower than trains during peak hours.
