How to Get to Svoge
Svoge (Sofia Province) is easiest to reach from Sofia - a frequent regional train or a short drive north along the Iskar Gorge. Sofia Airport (SOF) provides the main international access with onward rail and bus connections to Svoge.

From Sofia Airport you can take the metro or bus to Sofia Central Railway Station (≈30-40 minutes) and then a regional train to Svoge (journey ≈40-60 minutes). Taxis from Sofia Airport to Svoge take about 45-60 minutes and cost roughly 40-60 BGN depending on traffic.
Varna Airport (VAR): Varna is much farther (northeast Bulgaria); use Varna only if you are combining coastal travel - otherwise Sofia is the most practical air gateway for Svoge.
