About Stadion Energa Gdańsk#
Stadion Energa Gdańsk is a football stadium in Gdańsk, Poland, built for use in UEFA Euro 2012. It opened in 2011 and has a seating capacity of roughly 41,600.
The venue features an exterior of amber-coloured panels and a covered spectator bowl, and it serves as the regular home stadium for Lechia Gdańsk while also hosting international matches, tournaments and concerts. The seating is arranged in a two-tier bowl with unobstructed views of the pitch.
Construction was completed in the run-up to Euro 2012 as one of several new or renovated stadiums in Poland and Ukraine for the tournament. Since then it has been used for domestic football and occasional large-scale events.
The stadium stands in the Letnica district of Gdańsk, north of the historic centre and close to the city’s industrial and shipyard areas.
