St. David's Island, Bermuda

St. David’s Island is an island in the northeastern part of Bermuda within St. George’s Parish. It occupies the eastern end of the territory and is one of the principal inhabited islands of the parish.

The island combines residential settlements, coastal headlands and small beaches with areas of natural shoreline and walking routes. Notable local features include headlands and viewpoints used for coastal walks and birdwatching.

During the 20th century parts of the island were developed for airfield and military use; today the island includes the territory’s main civil airport and associated infrastructure.

Geographically, St. David’s Island lies in St. George’s Parish at the eastern end of Bermuda, connected by road to neighbouring islands and to the town of St. George’s.
