Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA): Managua is the nearest international airport for San Marcos (Carazo). From Managua the drive to San Marcos takes around 1.5-2.5 hours depending on traffic and route via the Pan-American Highway.
Regional airfields: There are no regular international flights to San Marcos; the town is accessed by road from Managua or regional hubs.
