Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP) / Toncontín (TGU): Honduras has two main international airports - Ramón Villeda Morales in La Ceiba/La Lima area (SAP) and Toncontín in Tegucigalpa (TGU). For San José de Tarros (Santa Bárbara Department) Toncontín (TGU) is the closer international airport. From TGU you will need a road transfer by taxi or bus to Santa Bárbara region; expect multi-hour travel over inland roads.
