From SAP you can take a shared shuttle van or private transfer to Copán Ruinas; journey time is typically around 3-3.5 hours by road. Shuttle prices commonly range US$25-US$40 per person; a private taxi transfer can cost US$100-US$150 depending on vehicle and negotiation.

Tegucigalpa / Toncontín (TGU): Arrivals into Tegucigalpa need a longer land transfer (often 4.5-6 hours depending on route and stops). Shuttles or long-distance buses run between Tegucigalpa and Copán; expect higher travel time and variable fares.
