How to Get to La Entrada#
La Entrada (Copán Department) is normally reached by road from San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa. Buses and shuttles connect the main cities with regional hubs; from those hubs local buses or taxis reach La Entrada.
Ramón Villeda Morales (SAP) / San Pedro Sula: San Pedro Sula is the closest major international airport for western Honduras; from there you travel overland toward La Entrada by bus or private shuttle (several hours).
Tegucigalpa (TGU): Tegucigalpa is an alternative airport but the overland trip to La Entrada will generally be longer.
Train: There is no passenger rail in Honduras.
