How to Get to Sakib#
Sakib is a town in the Jerash Governorate north of Amman and is best reached by road from Amman International Airport (AMM) or from Amman city. Buses and shared taxis serve Jerash regularly; a short taxi ride covers the last stretch to Sakib.
Queen Alia International Airport (AMM): Amman’s main international airport is the primary arrival point for northern Jordan. From AMM to Sakib (Jerash Governorate) is a drive of about 45-75 minutes (depending on traffic); taxis or hired cars are the most convenient options.
Amman civil/domestic options: There are no regular commercial flights into Jerash; road travel from AMM or Amman city is the standard approach.
Bus: JETT, local buses and service taxis connect Amman and Jerash; buses to Jerash depart from Amman’s northern bus stations. The trip from Amman to Sakib (near Jerash) is about 40-60 minutes by road and fares are low on regular buses.
