Best Time to Visit Jerash #

Jerash is best in spring or autumn when temperatures are mild and the ruins are comfortable to explore; spring also brings wildflowers. Summers are extremely hot and winters cool and rainy, so timing matters for comfort.

Winter
December - February · 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F)
Cool, wetter winters mean fewer crowds and green landscapes; you'll need a rain jacket and may find some dirt tracks muddy around the ruins.
Summer
June - August · 28°C to 40°C (82°F to 104°F)
Scorching summers make midday touring oppressive; visit only early morning or late afternoon if you must, and expect limited shade at the archaeological park.
Spring & Autumn
March - May & September - November · 15°C to 28°C (59°F to 82°F)
Spring and autumn are genuinely lovely-mild days, dramatic light for photography, and comfortable wandering through the colonnaded streets without oppressive heat.
