Punat City
Coastal town on Krk island with popular marina
A sheltered bay and a busy marina make this Krk town a sailor's stop; tourists visit for boat charters, the small monastery island of Košljun, pebble coves, and family‑run konobas serving grilled fish.
Why Visit Punat?#
Set on the sheltered bay of Krk Island, Punat attracts sailors to its full-service marina and cultural visitors to the small island monastery of Košljun. The town’s centuries-old olive groves and local winemakers make olive oil and island wines memorable souvenirs. Punat’s relaxed harbor life, seafood taverns and small-town festivals celebrating island traditions create an appealing contrast to busier Adriatic resorts.
