How to Get to Dobrinj#
Dobrinj on Krk island is most easily reached via Rijeka Airport (RJK) or Rijeka bus/rail hub, then by road across the Krk bridge. There is no train access on the island-cars, local buses and taxis are the standard ways to get around.
Rijeka Airport (RJK): Rijeka Airport on Krk is the closest airport to Dobrinj (Dobrinj is on the island of Krk); drive time from RJK to Dobrinj is about 15-25 minutes depending on route and traffic. Taxis and car rental are the simplest ways to continue from the airport.
Pula Airport (PUY): Pula is a farther alternative for some flights; reaching Dobrinj from Pula typically involves a longer drive (about 1.5-2 hours) via coastal roads or transfers through Rijeka.
Train: There is no rail service on the island of Krk; the nearest railhead is Rijeka on the mainland. Trains can bring you to Rijeka, but the island requires a road transfer across the Krk bridge.
