How to Get to Pulau Kadidiri #

Pulau Kadidiri is one of the Togean Islands in Central Sulawesi; the common gateway is the port of Ampana on Sulawesi. From Ampana’s harbor regular speedboats and ferries run to Kadidiri - boat transfers typically take between one and a few hours depending on vessel and weather.

Ampana is reached by road from larger Sulawesi towns (land transport and some ferry connections); on arrival at Kadidiri the island’s dive resorts and villages are a short walk from the pier.

Tips for Visiting Pulau Kadidiri #

  • Travel to Kadidiri from Ampana via early-morning boat to maximize calm seas and diving/snorkeling time-many operators depart before mid-morning.
  • Stay overnight on Kadidiri rather than doing a day trip so you can experience the house reef at dawn and dusk when visibility and marine activity are best.
  • Coordinate with Togean Islands Marine Park authorities and hire local guides; respecting no-take zones helps conservation and gives access to better snorkel/diving sites.
