Predjama Castle is a medieval fortress built into a limestone cliff near Postojna in southwestern Slovenia, notable for its dramatic position at the mouth of a cave. The structure incorporates both above-ground fortifications and cave passages, creating a fortified complex integrated with the rock.

The present castle dates to the late medieval period and was constructed on the site of earlier fortifications; it is associated in local history with a 15th-century knight who used the castle as a stronghold during regional conflicts. Many tourists visit Predjama Castle after or before Postojna Cave; there are also local tourist shuttles linking the cave visitor center and the castle.

There is roadside parking at the castle and pedestrian paths from the parking area to the site.

• Visit Predjama Castle in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday coach groups that also visit from Postojna; arriving outside peak hours gives better access to the courtyard and photos without crowds.
