How to Get to Postira
Postira is a village on the island of Brač; the usual route is Split Airport → Split ferry port → ferry or catamaran to Supetar → Supetar bus to Postira. Connections are frequent in summer and reduced in low season.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the main airport serving Brač visitors (via ferry). From Split, travel to the ferry port (Split-Riva/Trajektna luka) then take Jadrolinija ferries or fast catamarans to Supetar on Brač; combined airport-to-Supetar door-to-door time is commonly about 1.5-2 hours depending on connections.
Zagreb / Dubrovnik: Zagreb or Dubrovnik are alternatives but involve significantly longer overland/ferry transfers.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Brač.
Bus & Ferry: From Split city centre walk or bus to the ferry port and take the car ferry (Split↔Supetar, approx. 50 minutes) or a fast passenger catamaran (shorter). From Supetar catch a local bus to Postira (about 20-30 minutes). Ferry passenger fares are modest (a few euros) and the Supetar→Postira bus is short and inexpensive.
