How to Get to Petrovac, Budva#
Petrovac is most easily reached from Tivat (TIV) or Podgorica (TGD) airports with a short onward bus or taxi ride. Public buses are regular in high season; driving or a taxi is faster and convenient for luggage.
Tivat Airport (TIV): Tivat is the closest airport for coastal towns like Petrovac (approx 20-30 km). From Tivat you can take a taxi (~30 minutes, roughly €20-30) or a local bus toward Budva/Petrovac (about 30-50 minutes); schedules vary by season.
Podgorica Airport (TGD): Podgorica handles more international flights and is about 60-70 km from Petrovac. By car it’s roughly 1-1.5 hours. There are regular buses from Podgorica to coastal towns (Budva/Petrovac) that take ~1.5 hours; fares depend on operator (typically a few euros).
Train: Montenegro’s rail network does not serve Petrovac directly; the nearest regular rail services terminate at Podgorica and Bar (further away).
